Massive thanks to our partners who made all of this possible, K-SWISS and MySpace as well as equipment partner JOOLA, sponsors, VeeV, La Societe Stella Artois, and NY20, and beneficiary, 826NYC.
The final was a Battle Royal which went the full distance. Judah Friedlander against Will Shortz, the two form players on the night. Judah’s serve was untouchable. Despite choosing to de-pant mid-game, Will could not decode the topspin and fell two games to one, 11-9 in the final game. Judah took home the Alojzy Ehrlich Memorial Trophy which had been smelted for the occasion.
We are indebted to all of our competitors, as well as everyone who came, donated to 826 NYC, and enjoyed a tournament that had suspense, mastery, and, we hope, a love and respect of mighty Ping Pong at its core.
Tournament of Champions went down last night. Full report and photos to follow. Packed house. Lots of support for 826 NYC. Redefinition of Swifter, Higher, Stronger. And a very tasty final indeed between bookies favorite, puzzle master Will Shortz, and the master of mind games, Judah Friedlander. For now, this storming rendering by Every Person In New York.
This is how we expect the play to look tomorrow at the Tournament of Champions. Bare chested. Revolutionary. No holds barred. With pants. Come Join Us.

Our book was featured on BoingBoing today in a magical essay by David Pescovitz. And we are also given this chopped back hand of a compliment by THE FADER. We are honored that Publisher, Rob Stone, will be bringing his punishing game to the Tournament of Champions.
To celebrate the launch of our Ping Pong Bible, the Everything You Know is Pong Tournament of Champions. A Battle to the Death, in aid of two good causes.
