We are proud to have taken custody of the Tournament Of Champions Trophy which will be battled over at the Lincoln Center on November 10, and it is a beauty. A five-foot tall objet d’art which towers over the average toddler.  The cup is The Alojzy Ehrlich Memorial Trophy named for the 1930s Polish champion who was “King of the Chisellers.”  The holder of the world record for longest rally — a two hour, 12 minutes point, Ehrlich was saved from Auschwitz by a German guard/ping pong fan and proceeded to represent France at the World Championships post-war.  He is a role model for today’s ping-pong playing youth.
